 For the initial matches Ballymaguigan wore the green jerseys of Newbridge. The following year, when a kit was obtained, the club chose the green and gold of Kerry - even then they set their standards high! The first proposed strip was a green shirt with a gold shamrock on the breast - these were not available so the green with the gold hoop was obtained.
